Dear Pro-Life Friends,

Hundreds of people joined together throughout the world to pray the rosary for Joan's intentions, and she was released even before we finished it. Such is the generosity of God. There are many other pro-lifers in jail for trying to save lives, so I have ammended the petitions slightly so that this rosary can be used again and again.
The full Rosary Novena is 54 days: 27 days (9 complete rosaries) in petition, and 27 days in thanksgiving. Below I have a table of suggested intentions for each of the days, for every petition there is a corresponding thanksgiving. They are, of course, only suggestions.

Day Mystery Intention

Day 1 Joyful Petition - That the Lord be with all pro-lifers who are in jail in this their time of trial and give them the strength and courage to continue to witness for those unable to speak for themselves.

Day 2 Sorrowful Petition - For the judges who commit pro-lifers to jail that they may respond to the graces offered to them by God.

Day 3 Glorious Petition - For those children who are about to be aborted that the Lord Jesus and His Blessed Mother speak to the hearts of the mothers and give them the grace to give life to their babies.

Day 4 Joyful Petition - For the spouses of those in jail that the Lord accept their suffering and by it help and strengthen them in their purpose, and to keep their family united in their love for all God's children.

Day 5 Sorrowful Petition - For all those in prison with pro-lifers that their example to them may turn their hearts to the Lord and that at no time in the future will they take any part in the abortion of a child.

Day 6 Glorious Petition - For all mothers who are about to abort their children, that they listen to the voice of grace and turn away from the killing centres forever.

Day 7 Joyful Petition - For the children of all pro-lifers, that inspired by the example of their parents they may grow in strength to love and serve the Lord.

Day 8 Sorrowful Petition - For President Clinton, the American government and all governments that they reject forever the evils of abortion, euthanasia, experimentation and all vice and turn to Jesus and Mary for the strength to bring back the laws of God to the world.

Day 9 Glorious Petition - For those mothers and fathers who have aborted their children, that they may find their way to God and atone for their sins by working to prevent others from making the same error.

Day 10 Joyful Petition - That those who meet and have care of pro-life prisoners should recognise Christ in their love for their fellow men, and treat them with gentleness for His sake.

Day 11 Sorrowful Petition - For the conversion of all those who perform abortions throughout the world, and those who promote it.

Day 12 Glorious Petition - For the mothers who chose life for their babies, that the Lord will shower them with blessings for their generosity, and that they will reap the benefits of having loving children to care for them in their old age.

Day 13 Joyful Petition - Let us pray for all those who will be in court today, facing a jail sentance because of their commitment to unborn children. May God continue to uphold them in their fight for the lives of the babies and the souls of their oppressors.

Day 14 Sorrowful Petition - For the Governors of the jails, and all jail employees who have pro-life prisoners in their care, that they realise the injustice of these sentences and treat their prisoners with compassion and dignity.

Day 15 Glorious Petition - For all unborn children, that their journey to birth be without danger, and their journey through life be with God, and for the babies who have been saved from abortion, may they grow up to bring joy to their parents and to walk in the light of the Lord.

Day 16 Joyful Petition - For the Catholic Church, may she always stand strong in the defence of life, chastity and innocence.

Day 17 Sorrowful Petition - For all those involved in human in-vitro fertilisation and experimentation, that they turn back to God and forsake the evil in which thay have been involved.

Day 18 Glorious Petition - For the conversion of the whole world that it turns back to God and understands that children are a gift from God and a blessing to their parents.

Day 19 Joyful Petition - For all those who have died as a result of abortion, contraception, experimentation, IVF, and euthanasia. May God in his great mercy grant them eternal rest.

Day 20 Sorrowful Petition - For the closure of ALL abortion mills.

Day 21 Glorious Petition - For all young people, that they grow up in innocence and purity, uncorrupted by this evil world so that when it is their time to make laws, their laws will correspond with the will of God.
